Eligibility Criteria

All age calculations are based on the child's age as on 31st March 2027.

Kindergarten (KG)

Age 4–5
  • Child must be 4 years old as on 31st March 2027
  • Maximum age: 5 years 11 months
  • No prior schooling required
  • Basic interaction / playgroup assessment
  • Parent counselling session included

Class 1

Age 5–6
  • Child must be 5 years old as on 31st March 2027
  • Maximum age: 6 years 11 months
  • Completion of KG from a recognised school required
  • Simple interaction / readiness assessment
  • Previous school report card preferred

Classes 2 – 8

Merit Based
  • Age-appropriate for the class applied (per CBSE norms)
  • Must have passed the immediately preceding class
  • Submission of last 2 years' report cards
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) from previous school mandatory
  • Merit-based selection; subject to seat availability

Classes 9 – 12

Entrance + Merit
  • Must have passed Class 8 / 10 / 11 with minimum 55% marks
  • Mandatory written entrance assessment (Maths, Science, English)
  • Science / Commerce / Arts stream selection post Class 10
  • Migration Certificate required for Class 11 (other boards)
  • Final admission subject to performance & seat availability

Important Age Cutoff Date

As per CBSE guidelines, the age of the child will be reckoned as on 31st March of the academic year of admission. Children must meet the minimum age requirement on or before this date. Overage or underage admissions are not permitted unless specifically approved by CBSE.

Admission Process

A simple, transparent 5-step process to secure your child's place at MTPS.

📋 Obtain Application Form

Download the application form from this page (below) or collect a physical copy from the school office between 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM on any working day. An online submission option is also available. A nominal form fee of ₹200 is applicable.

📁 Submit Documents

Fill the form completely and submit it along with all required documents (see the Documents Required section below) to the Admissions Office. Ensure all copies are attested. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

✏️ Entrance Assessment (if applicable)

Students applying for Classes 9–12 will be called for a written entrance test in English, Mathematics, and Science. Test date and schedule will be communicated via SMS and email after form submission. KG and Class 1 applicants attend a simple interaction session.

🤝 Interview with Principal

Shortlisted candidates and their parents/guardians are invited for a brief counselling session and interaction with the school principal. This helps us understand the student's background, strengths, and learning needs to ensure a great fit.

💳 Fee Payment & Enrollment

Upon selection, the admission offer letter will be issued. Parents must complete fee payment within 7 working days to confirm the seat. Fee can be paid by cash, cheque, bank transfer, or UPI. Post payment, the student is officially enrolled and receives a Welcome Kit.
